Maori Language Week ( Week 8)

Our class Whakatauki is
"He taonga rongonui te aroha ki te tangata" which means Goodwill towards others is a precious treasure. Students have been learning it to recite for the challenge of the week. We've been learning the ways to greet each other, the body parts, day of the week and affirmations. The class has been learning many Maori songs and one of their favourite ones being Tiaho Mai Ra. It has been an exciting week for the students as they have created their own class Korowai using paper and they are very proud of their work.
